Reflection

Everyone has a part they do not show and a day when they failed badly. The question that lingers is whether God still wants someone like that close. The Bible's answer is uncomfortable in how generous it is, and Lamentations 3:22-23 says it plainly.

When we look at the Scriptures, we realize that the theme of New Beginnings is not just moral advice, but a matter of spiritual survival. Our natural tendency is to follow the current of the culture, but the call of Christ is always countercultural.

The text of Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us of a fundamental truth: 'Because of the loving devotion of the LORD we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!'. This is not just a promise or an empty commandment; it is an invitation to experience the abundant life God planned for us. When we choose to trust that word, something changes inside us.

Often our greatest struggle is not against outward circumstances, but against our own resistance to surrendering to God's will. We want control, we want immediate answers, but God calls us to a place of dependence and faith.

Today you are invited to re-examine your posture toward New Beginnings. It is not about trying to be perfect in your own strength, but about letting God's grace transform your heart from the inside out. True change begins when we acknowledge our need for Him.

Because of the loving devotion of the LORD we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!
