Reflection

You can be busy all day long and, at the end, not know where any of it was going. Being busy is not the same as having direction. Matthew 25:21 asks the question the rush tends to drown out.

When we look at the Scriptures, we realize that the theme of Faithfulness vs. Results is not just moral advice, but a matter of spiritual survival. Our natural tendency is to follow the current of the culture, but the call of Christ is always countercultural.

The text of Matthew 25:21 reminds us of a fundamental truth: 'His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!’'. This is not just a promise or an empty commandment; it is an invitation to experience the abundant life God planned for us. When we choose to trust that word, something changes inside us.

Often our greatest struggle is not against outward circumstances, but against our own resistance to surrendering to God's will. We want control, we want immediate answers, but God calls us to a place of dependence and faith.

Today you are invited to re-examine your posture toward Faithfulness vs. Results. It is not about trying to be perfect in your own strength, but about letting God's grace transform your heart from the inside out. True change begins when we acknowledge our need for Him.
